In praise of the in-between moments
We spend so much time talking about the big milestones or stressing over the daily grind, but lately, i’ve been thinking about the "in-between" moments.
you know the ones: staring out the window while the kettle boils, the five minutes sitting in your parked car before going inside, or watching the rain trace paths down the glass on a commute. we usually try to fill these tiny voids with doom-scrolling or podcasts, but what if we just let them be empty?
I've been trying to let my brain just breathe during these micro-pauses. it's weirdly difficult, but also kind of magical. it's usually in those quiet, mundane seconds that the best ideas happen, or at least, the deepest breaths
what’s your favorite "in-between" moment of the day? let me know in the comments.
